About
I want my constituents to know me and trust me to represent them in the Wyoming State House. This page allows you to learn about my family and me.
About Bryan
My siblings, who all graduated from Laramie High School (LHS) and the University of Wyoming describe me as hard working as the Energizer Bunny and possessing Common Sense attributes they say are needed in a legislator during the 2020’s.
To see if you agree, here’s my story.
I grew up in Laramie after moving here as a young boy. I attended Slade Elementary and graduated from Laramie High School. My love of cars and trucks and fascination with how things work started at a young age. I received an Associates of Applied Science at SE Community College in Nebraska. During this time, I met my wife Pam, and our two daughters and son were born.
In the late 1980’s we moved to Laramie, and I helped my parents run their grocery stores. Returning to the place I call home allowed my children to graduate from LHS and attend the University of Wyoming.
My fascination with making things work better continues. It expanded my life leading to many hobbies building, repairing, and remodeling as well as my work on numerous Laramie events and boards. In 2009 I joined WyoTech as an instructor. I enjoy teaching students how things work and what it takes to create a satisfying career.
I’m a people person and enjoy connecting with those around me.
Family
My wife, Pamela, and I have been married for 45 years and have three children. Pam and I enjoy attending athletic events year-round, spending time in the mountains with friends and family, going for walks and riding our bikes on local trails. We spend time each week with a close group of friends for a meal and board games or cards. We’re active in our local church serving on multiple boards and donating our time to assist with maintenance, music, and service.
Two of our three children live in Wyoming. I’m Papa to nine grandchildren and three grand dogs.
Employment
I’ve worked for WyoTech as their Lead Diesel Instructor for the past 13 years. I have earned 17 ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certifications. I also introduce students to the community through community service projects as well as showing them the beauty of our surrounding countryside and all that Wyoming offers.
Prior to WyoTech, I worked for the local Ford dealership as a Lead Technician and as a manager at my family’s grocery business, Ideal Foods.
